A new build home with a blank canvas garden. The previous owner having laid the garden entirely with sandstone slabs, it would become an unforgiving surface for a young family.
The plan was to create a garden with artificial lawn for year round safe play space, within a contemporary design that combines sensory features such as the corten steel water table and ornamental grasses. A raised seating area for lounging sits beneath a slatted timber roof with drop down lighting.
